School Uniform And Dress Code
Our school uniform policy, rules and expectations have been designed to be simple, fair, and reasonable to parents, caregivers, students, and staff. Pupils are required to wear the necessary school uniform when attending school, representing the school, or participating in a school-based event outside normal school hours. The table below indicates the prescribed Preschool uniforms for each school day.
Students with even school numbers are sorted into House Grey while those with odd numbers are placed in White House. White House students wear white polos on Wednesdays and Fridays to school while House Grey students wear grey polos.
Uniform shirts must be tucked into shorts and secured with a black belt. Girls’ skirts should be knee-length; jewellery should be kept to a minimum and nail polish should not be worn.
Shoes must be worn with a pair of white ankle-length socks. Shoelaces must always be fastened. Slippers, flip-flops, or crocs are not allowed.
Good care is also required for the hair, skin, and fingernails. Boys and girls should keep short hair. Students are not allowed to wear coloured hair or dyed hair to school. When a student wears long hair, it should be tied back. No writing on school uniforms or school-approved apparel will be permitted except embroidery or iron-on labels of children’s names for ease of identification.
Parents and caregivers are entreated to observe the school uniform/dress code policy. Parents and caregivers should speak to the Administrator when there are difficulties in observing the dress code. Any student with medical reasons wishing to wear clothing/ footwear other than the prescribed must provide a medical letter stating the reason and how long the exemption applies.
