Early Years Stage
Admission into EYS is based on vacancy. We accept children who will benefit from the school’s academic programme, nurturing environment and contribute to the community spirit. Learners are admitted to the appropriate class in July each year depending on age and the following considerations:
- learners living closest to the school.
- to siblings of children already on the roll.
- exceptional educational, medical, or social needs of the child.
In exercising judgment on this, the admission team will consider the child’s cognitive, physical and linguistic needs. Grade placement for the 2024/25 academic year will follow this structure:

Primary School
Admission into Primary school is based on vacancy and academic performance. We accept children who will benefit from the school’s strong academic programme, nurturing environment, and contribute to the community spirit. The learner should be turning 6 years or older in July of the admission year to enter Year 1. Applicants to the Primary School will sit for assessment in English and Mathematics and must attain a minimum of 65% or 21 (using the Cambridge Checkpoint scores and scale descriptions) in the two subjects.
An applicant from a Cambridge International accredited school and having written a Cambridge checkpoint for year 6 will be assessed based on the checkpoint score. The minimum acceptable score is 21. An applicant who has not written a Cambridge International checkpoint examination will write exams in English and Math.
Secondary School
Learners joining the Secondary School (IGCSE) are admitted based on their academic performance. Where the applicant has written a Cambridge International checkpoint examination, and meets the minimum acceptable score of 21, the applicant will be exempted.
An applicant who has not written a Cambridge International checkpoint examination for year 9, will write exams in English and Math. Each subject’s pass score is 21 (using the Cambridge Checkpoint scores and scale descriptions).
