At IB Arthur School, we encourage parents to enrol their kids in at least one of the Extra-Curricular Activities to enhance their growth. Each activity would come at an additional cost per term. All activities would be grouped into four different tiers: Lower Primary, Upper Primary, Lower Secondary, and Senior Secondary.

A FIFA-trained coach would be leading the students across different age groups for the football club. Paramount to their experience in the football club would be fostering a culture of teamwork and discipline. Students would participate in external competitions at least once in the academic year.
Who is eligible to join the club?
All students from lower primary school onward are eligible to join the Football Club. However, the club would comprise a total of 25 students per tier. These 25 students would be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
What is the schedule for the Football Club?
- Twice a week:
- An allocated slot on the school timetable during the week
- Every Saturday of the term from 07:30 to 09:30
Competitions and other costs
Parents will bear the cost of travel and living expenses anytime students participate in competitions outside the school.
Parents will also bear the cost of their training gear.
A certified swimming instructor would be leading the students across different age groups for the swimming club. The swimming club would prioritize water safety, motor development, and aerobic gains. Students would participate in external competitions at least once in the academic year.
Who is eligible to join the club?
All students from lower primary school onward are eligible to join the Swimming Club. However, the club would comprise a total of 18 students per tier. These 18 students would be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. There shall be ten (10) learners from the EYS 3 class in each tier.
What is the schedule for the Swimming Club?
- Twice a week:
- An allocated slot on the school timetable during the week
- Every Saturday of the term from 07:30 to 09:30 (Excluding EYS learners)
Competitions and other costs
Parents will bear the cost of travel and living expenses anytime students participate in competitions outside the school.
Parents will also bear the cost of their training gear.
Students would learn and develop their skills on music instruments such as percussion, keyboard, brass, string, and woodwind. Students will be given a platform to perform in front of an audience at least once in the academic year.

All students from Lower Primary up until Lower Secondary are eligible to join the Music Club. However, the club would comprise a total of 20 students. These 20 students would be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.

It is essential for students to learn a second language to nurture their social skills. The Language Club would offer teaching lessons in languages including Twi, Ga, Ewe, and French.
