IB Arthur School Students tour Unilever Factory

IB Arthur School always ensures we allow learners to grow and aspire to the greatest heights. Our Year 10 and Year 11 learners recently had the exciting opportunity to visit Unilever Ghana.

The trip gave them first-hand exposure to the company’s work, mission and core products. Guided through the factory, students explored how automation, quality management, and the balance between technology and human expertise work together to maintain Unilever’s global standards of excellence. One recurring theme throughout the experience was Quality: the drive to consistently deliver trusted products while empowering people.

This trip was not just about seeing machines and processes at work, but about sparking curiosity, building aspirations, and connecting classroom learning to real-world practice. The trip gave our students fresh insights into the world of work and inspired them to connect their classroom learning in business and accounting, chemistry, physics, computer science, as well as design and technology, with real-life opportunities.
